Sales 101

  • Edmonton Unlimited (map)

For many founders, sales is the part of building a business that feels the most uncomfortable – but it doesn’t have to be. Selling isn’t about being pushy or having a natural gift for persuasion. It’s a skill you can learn, structure, and repeat, and this workshop will show you how.

In this hands-on session, Trystan Keller of Sales Link Strategies will walk you through the fundamentals of building a sales approach that actually works. You’ll start with the foundation of every successful sale: clear, effective messaging that speaks directly to what your customer cares about. Trystan will show you how to sharpen your pitch, cut through the unnecessary chatter that clutters most sales conversations, and get to the point in a way that builds trust rather than resistance.

From there, you’ll move into the practical building blocks of a repeatable sales process. You’ll learn how to develop your first sales scripts – so you’re never improvising in high-stakes conversations – along with strategies for building and leveraging a network of prospects, referrals, and champions. The goal isn’t just to help you land your next sale, but to give you a system you can rely on again and again as your business grows.

You’ll leave the session with practical tools you can put to work immediately, whether that’s refining your outreach messaging, structuring your first sales calls, or mapping out a strategy for consistent, sustainable growth.

Who should attend

This workshop is open to everyone. Whether you’re an early-stage founder making your very first sale, an established entrepreneur looking to bring more structure to your process, a team member who’s newly taken on sales responsibilities, or simply someone curious about how effective selling works – you’ll find value here. No prior sales experience is required, and no idea or business is too early. If you want to get better at communicating the value of what you’re building, this session is for you.
