Reza brings a powerful blend of deep technical expertise and community-minded leadership. As the Founder of Semitechnics Corp, Reza is advancing smart energy management solutions to help create a more sustainable future. He holds a Master’s in Electrical-Energy Systems and a PhD in Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Technologies from the University of Alberta. Before stepping into his role as Chair in spring 2025, Reza led our Governance Sub-Committee with insight, integrity, and purpose.
Reza’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaborative growth makes him a key driver in shaping Edmonton’s regional innovation ecosystem.
