Air Canada and Culinary Tourism Alliance Launch Youth Taste of Place Entrepreneur Showcase

Air Canada, in partnership with the Culinary Tourism Alliance, has announced the launch of the Air Canada Youth Taste of Place Entrepreneur Showcase, a national initiative designed to elevate emerging Canadian culinary and agritourism entrepreneurs aged 19–30. The program will select two young business owners whose ventures highlight local food systems, regional identity, sustainability, and community impact.

Selected entrepreneurs will receive round-trip Air Canada flights, accommodations, and full access to the 2026 Taste of Place Summit in Edmonton, where they will take the stage in a featured session titled “How My Taste of Place Business Took Flight.” The showcase aims to amplify youth voices in Canada’s culinary tourism sector while providing meaningful exposure, mentorship, and national visibility.

Applicants must operate an active Canadian culinary or agritourism business that reflects a strong sense of place through local ingredients, cultural storytelling, or innovative food experiences. The initiative underscores Air Canada’s and the Culinary Tourism Alliance’s shared commitment to supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs shaping Canada’s food and tourism landscape.
