Companies are invited to submit real-world challenges or questions to be explored collaboratively with academic experts.

Submitted questions will be reviewed by the organizers and matched with researchers from post-secondary institutions across the Edmonton region. Selected questions will form the basis of the event’s collaborative workshops.

Questions should be:

  • Specific and clearly formulated

  • Supported by brief background context

  • Suitable for open discussion (questions must be discussable without a Non-Disclosure Agreement)

Companies are encouraged to submit more than one question to increase the likelihood of being matched with an academic team. Questions will be accepted until capacity is reached. Selected participants will be contacted with next steps prior to the event.

What Happens After You Submit

Submitted questions are reviewed by the event organizers.

  • Questions are matched with relevant academic expertise.

  • Selected questions are workshopped during the event in a facilitated, collaborative setting.

  • Within 24 hours of the event, academic teams provide a high-level, one-page response.

  • Selected responses may receive a stipend to support continued collaboration and exploration
