Athabasca University is proud to host the 2025 International Conference on Interdisciplinary Innovations in Computing and Society (ICIICS) - a dynamic and collaborative platform for advancing research, innovation, and global engagement. This year’s conference is designed to inspire cross-sector partnerships and interdisciplinary dialogue that address complex challenges across education, healthcare, the environment, and rural development.
In alignment with the Alberta Innovates Strategic Networking & Development (SND) Program, IIRC 2025 supports strategic knowledge sharing and innovation capacity-building through a diverse range of academic, industry, and community-led initiatives. The conference emphasizes the transformative power of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Blockchain, Drone Systems, and Cyber-Physical Systems.
