The Built World Challenge is looking for participants!
Calling Edmonton innovators — here’s a chance to solve a real industry problem and potentially turn that solution into a business.
The Built World Challenge is looking for participants! Led by Edmonton Unlimited with industry and community partners, this eight-week program brings together multidisciplinary teams of innovators to tackle real challenges brought forward by local companies. You’ll spend eight weeks testing ideas, developing solutions and exploring whether there’s a commercial opportunity behind them. And it doesn’t necessarily end there. Top teams may be able to access funding through Edmonton Unlimited’s Venture Pilots program to test their solution with customers, along with support to potentially form a startup and bring that solution to market.
You don’t need to come with a fully formed company or solution — you’re coming to help solve the problem. If you’re a researcher, student, entrepreneur, technologist, engineer, designer, industry professional or simply someone with relevant skills and an interest in solving real-world problems, take a look at the challenges and consider getting involved.
Learn more about the Built World Challenge and register to participate. Know someone who would be a great fit? Tag them or send this their way.
