The Edmonton Regional Innovation Network (ERIN) connects people, organizations and resources to strengthen the region’s technology and innovation ecosystem and support entrepreneurs building the
businesses of tomorrow.
Innovation doesn't happen in isolation. It takes entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, industry, post-secondary institutions, service providers, government and community organizations working together.

ERIN brings these pieces together across the Edmonton region. We identify opportunities and gaps in the ecosystem, connect entrepreneurs to the resources they need, and work with partners to develop and support programs and initiatives that respond to the needs of
our innovation community.

Our goal is to help create a strong, connected and adaptable ecosystem where technology and innovation​ entrepreneurs can find the support, connections and opportunities they need to grow.​

REGIONAL INNOVATION NETWORKS
ERIN is one of eight Regional Innovation Networks (RINs) that make up Alberta's Innovation Network (AIN).

Regional Innovation Networks are a program funded by Alberta Innovates to seed, stimulate and nurture technology, innovation and entrepreneurship within their regions while working together to strengthen Alberta’s innovation ecosystem as a whole.
​
The RIN model combines local, on-the-ground knowledge with province-wide collaboration. Each region can respond to its own unique strengths and needs while sharing resources, best practices and learnings across Alberta.

ERIN is part of Alberta Innovates' Regional Innovation Network program, which brings together eight regional networks across Alberta.
Edmonton Unlimited is ERIN's funded delivery partner, working with ERIN to deliver programs and services that support the region's innovation ecosystem.
Community Futures Capital Region acts as ERIN's fiscal agent and contract holder with Alberta Innovates.
